Who's Flushing Gerry?

Harry Taylor ran for US Congress in 2008 (NC-9), a gerrymandered district that has produced its winner from the same party for nearly 60 years. Shortly after losing in the general election, Harry took it upon himself to Tell the People what election rigging via gerrymandering does to American democracy. While Harry can recall learning about the practice in seventh grade, he continues to find that most people know neither the meaning of the word nor how the practice disenfranchises voters. He wrote You Can’t Get There From Here to share the near impossible task of winning an election rigged by gerrymandering.

The Flush Gerrymander initiative was conceived in 2013.
